Yes, by all means, when you are ready, do get another furbaby to love. When my Starr died (she was only 3), my husband insisted on getting another right away. I did not want another doggie so soon, but it turns out that it was the best thing for our family. We will never ever ever forget Starr, but Luna fills our hearts back up again. She is so different from Starr, yet she does some of the same things. Plus we learned a lot from Starr's life, and death, that we can put to good use for another baby or two (or three) and help them to have a healthy, long life.
You'll know when you're ready, and it'll do you a world of good to have another sweet face looking up at you with love. In the meantime, cry as much as you need to, and remember your sweet baby girl.
