Hi there, I just got Bella a heating pad for her crate as well. It was from the pet store, but essentailly it is just one of those old school rubber heating bottles that you add boiling water to or put in the microwave. It has a little soft cover over it as well. I wrap it with her blanket and it works great. When its really cold I put it on my lap and we both stay warm.
You could probably get something at any drug store. Good luck!
