I'm really sorry about your cousin, V. PAXIL actually increases the incident rate of suicide... unfortunately. At least that's what I've learned in my pharm classes. And I've also heard it really does decrease sexual desire. Antidepressant meds are different for everyone though, like someone said above, it's trial and error.
