| Very good point I was reading something on the Bichon Frise and saw a comment that said most Bichon Frise are 11-22 #s and not toy lap dogs. I know Yorkies usually don't get that big, but sometimes wonder if there shouldn't be something somewhere that says although the standard for Yorkies is less than 7#, there are probably more Yorkies that are larger than 7#. I think it might be helpful for those who are unaware that the pup they get may well be larger than they expected. I am not for changing the standard because I want a toy dog but do understand that many pet owners are disappointed when their pup grows larger than they expected.
Have we done a poll on what size our dogs are? If not, it might be interesting to know if the standard is the norm on YT> Quote:
