Yes, they do in fact grow back.
I routinely shave my Akitas whiskers off and w/ the yorkies I part the hair and trim at the base of the whisker against the skin-being sure to not remove ANYTHING more than just the whisker. Pain staking, but w/ it! They can be so sharp and get so long that they'll actually come back at the dogs face. So I just remove them. |
