Petlover, thats how I learned some of these things, by reading others posts here.

Venus is almost 6 months now, and she "seems" (knocking on wood as I type) to be out of the chewing stage now. But everything in this kitchen has clear deoderant on it! Even all of my baseboards, part of a wall, 4 chairs, pedistal table, and a china cabinet! So It worked for me. And when I saw her working on anything else, I put the clear deoderant on it too, including my cousins boot laces!

What works for some dogs doesn't always work on all though. I've seen a few here it didn't phase thier dogs, but they never got sick from it either.
