HI, this website shows a picture of how to do it. Jon-ann's yorkshire terriers. I found it when I was learning to do my own grooming (I have 4 now). I use a small Wahl trimmer with a 1" wide blade. I tried the full size clippers when Rocky was a baby and cut his ear
. When they're 8 wks I just shave the top 1/2 of their ear to reduce the weight on the ear; I start making the pretty V when they're a little older. Hold the leather on your fingers to support it & hold it flat and gently run the trimmer over it to remove the hair. Have someone else hold the pup if you need to.
