I started leaving Howie to have free run of the living room, dining room and kitchen when he was 8 months. At 4 months he would have been a hot mess running free! He took a little bit to get the hang of the pee pads. If yours is trained to go on thier pads and to not chew wires, furniture, etc. then let them roam!
