Thanks for thet tip I'm the one who wants the Yorkie breed, and we really wanted something small so that we could keep it inside since we live in a wooded community. I also have a 4-month-old, and I don't think a bigger dog would be practical with a baby that will soon be crawling around. My husband is extremely allergic to cats, so that is out of the question, and my little boy wants a pet so bad, that recently he has resorted to collecting bugs in a cup, lol. He's had everything from a fish, hermet crabs, spiders, turtles and a praying mantis. So we would really like to get him something that he can pet and cuddle at least and a small dog that we know isn't mixed in with something like a pitbull or chow.
