" Hi " I work in an Insurance Company agency and I don't know about dog insurance but here's what they mean by Pre-existing in people. Anything in the past that you have been treated for by a medical doctor, they want to know about. Not that it might exclude you from getting the insurance, but they will probably ask you for your vets name and address. Also, pre-existing clauses are usually only good for a year, so that means that anything that would not be paid for the lst year, after that it would be covered. I'd ask them how long the Pre-existing clause is good for. Hope this helps you.
