We just got a new yorkie a few weeks ago and he's now 12 weeks old. I work from home and I'm finding it next to impossible to get my work done. We have his crate set up in the laundry room with all of his toys, food/water, etc. I feel like he should get to be out all day since he's in there all night but I also don't feel like I can take my eyes off of him when he's out since we're working on housebreaking. So I end up doing no work unless I put him back in his room and then I feel guilty! UGH!

Does anyone have any advice? Or a sample schedule? Generally speaking, how old are they before I can have him with me but not have to watch him like a hawk?
