I myself gently pull the outside corner of the eye which closes it and make a couple small snips at a time. Have tried many different ways but Gizmo seems to put up with this. Poor baby..what we will do for beauty. Yes, I'm covered in a cold sweat by the time I'm thru but he looks and feels much better.
