When both my girls got spayed, no one was there to watch them overnight. So I insisted on bringing them home. I put a blow up bed on the floor & slept there with them. They were both so groggy I wanted them close to the floor. They usually sleep with my husband & I, but our bed is to high & I didn't want them to fall off. I slept with them for 3 days on the floor to watch them. They were back to their old self the next day, but I kept them medicated for pain & to keep them from running around for 3 days. Then I put a baby snap t shirt on them at night so they couldnt lick the stitches. During the day I watched them closely. I hated the collar the vet gave me for them to wear. They kept hitting things with it. Good luck. |
