Nope, honestly...not for one second. Though Sophie is only 12 weeks old, I really have absoluely NO desire for her to go through childbirth. It can be a wonderful thing, yes, but it's also traumatic on the body and it can be potentially dangerous for the mom.
Topher was neutered as soon as the vet would take him! I didn't for one second want to go through him marking, etc.
Though childbirth can be wonderful, I've never looked upon it as something the pets are 'missing out on' because I'm having them spayed or neutered.
I truly have so much respect for those who breed yorkies (or any dog for that matter) and do it well and do it right. It's a job that takes so much knowledge, love, skill, patience and just plain old fashioned fortitude. Those who devote their lives to it certainly deserve a pat on the back.
