max does this too and it is really starting to wear on me. he always pees outside unless its raining and i know to put a pad down cause he wont go out if its raining. i keep a pad in the laundry room for him to poop on, he has only pooped outside one time since ive had him.. i dont know why, but it is starting to try my patience. he either poops on the floor in the laundry room, in front of the front door or in the dang living room. id rather him go in the laundry room or in front of the door, both places are tile and easy to clean. of course id rather him use the pad or go outside, but he refuses. i dont know what to do, ive even thought of trying to litter box train him. i pick the poop up, tell him "no poop inside" take him and the poop outside and say "go poop" while showing him the spot.. im at a loss i really dont know what to do. and we rent, its making a mess of the carpet, i did find something that gets the stain out but sheesh
