Oh Gosh!!! I know you must be so upset - I just can't imagine. I grew up in the country and sometimes you have to do things like that (use rat poison) to control the pests - but it scares me to death!
I sure hope they are OK. We too, had a scare last month. We found our little Rexy with an open and empty bottle of advil. Thing is, it was my mom's and she didn't know if it was empty or not, so we had to go to the vet and treat him like he ate some advil. Thank goodness he was OK, and now we think the bottle was empty. But I know you you feel - just sick to your stomach!
