My little boy, Hobbs, did the same thing when he was a tiny puppy...he took a flying leap off the couch and broke his back right leg. We rushed him to the ER vet who splinted it and told us that our vet might want to do surgery. We took him to our regular vet the following Monday who looked at the x-rays, determined he didn't need surgery, and he resplinted his leg. He ended up being in the splint for about a month. We had to take him in to get the splint replaced once because it got wet during a bath. But after a month was up, he was all well. My vet suggested that we feed him lots of food and treats because the more calories he intakes, the faster the bones would heal. We also had to make sure he didn't run or anything too much because he didn't need to injure it more. Now Hobbs is 14 months old and you would never even know that he ever had a broken leg. He's as good as new.
Hope your little girl gets well soon! If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to PM me. GOOD LUCK!
