Now one thing the dog whisperer doesn't do is walk a Yorkie. My female pulls on the harness no matter if we've walked one block or twenty. I know he uses collars, but I use harnesses with my dogs because I don't want them hurting their trachea. I guess I won't worry about it and just let them have fun. Even though he says a dog in front doesn't respect you as a pack leader! My male does not pull on the harness like my female does, but she is definately the alpha dog.
