What a wonderful idea for a thread! And so interesting and moving to read all your stories - I have already been through most of the emotions in the register!

I have been a searching soul in all ways of life. 2 years ago I met the love of my life and settled down in Skagen where there is 12.000 inhabitants after I had lived in Copenhagen most of my life (1,5 mill inhabitants).

Moving here was greatly timed - I finished the basic psychotherapist education and could continue in a city 3 hours from here with the 2-year group and family therapy add-on.

I opened my clinic and had 4 clients in the first 6 months. I then heard about a 1year temp position with a project called "Skagen-health" - 100 years ago Skagen was the finest spa and wellness city in Denmark and now the entire community wanted to go together to make it so again. And they needed a projectcoordinator. Since I had tried so many different jobs in my life (and 5 years of selfemployed IT projectcoordination was one of them) I was the perfect choice for that. I could slowly build up my clinic on the side and our bills would get payed.

But at August 12th the job is over and there is no chance of getting it extended - the leaders need to apply some fonds and they can't do that this side of summer. Maybe there will be a job for me again next year, but until then I have to make do.

I have 5 clients right now and I can't live of that, so I might have to do some cleaning or computersupport on the side.

But it's all ok, since my husband and I love to be together, so we have bought a cheap house and live cheap and hope to both have parttime jobs some day so we can spend the most of our lives together instead of being at work

After the summerholiday I start offering my services to buisiness and industry - let's see if that doesn't improve the income - I am a great teacher and coach!

I have always gotten by and so has Thomas, so we'll make it - even if we have do cleaning jobs at night.
