Yep, get that ultrasound and you'll see just how far long you are. My pregnancy initially was not wanted-certainly not expected and I couldn't believe the emotion I felt when I had my first ultrasound-it was just moments after my blood test came back positive that I was pregnant. I thought I had a cyst on my ovary or something. Turned out I was just preggo!
So, it was all thrown in my face pretty rapidly. My initial reaction was to joke about it like I had swallowed a worm or something and that scene from Spaceballs came to mind about the alien poping out of that guys stomach...yeah, but by the time I had my second ultrasound, I remember feeling like I was going to cry, but didn't actually shed a tear. NOW? omg, I get excited.
It's amazing how rapidly this baby is growing!
