I have a couple of ideas on how to tell your family.(I have 9 pregnant co workers-in a company of 85 people!!!)
-Send flowers to family members, and have the flower shop sign the card on them from "Jen, Jim, and Baby Smith" (obviously fill in your names there)
-Get your parents "world's most awesome grandma/grandpa" T-shirts
-Have your family over, and dress your furbabies up in full baby gear, complete with onesies, bonnets, and pacifiers around their necks, and then when someone questions it, tell them you're "practicing"
-Have a local T-shirt shop make T's for your dogs that say, "I'm the big doggie sister" on them, and have them wear them around your family. (Co workers did this with their skin-kids-I'm the big brother, etc.)
-Have walgreens make a puzzle for you with your baby message on it (guess who's expecting, we're having a baby, wanna be grandparents, etc.) and mail the jumbled puzzle to family members for them to put together.

Those are good ideas, but My family is back in the states and I am here in Germany so..some of those ideas wont work to well lol. My husband dose not want to take leave till AFTER the baby is born, so we can go back home and ever one can see the baby. Which I think I should have the baby this summer... depending how far along I am.. I am not to sure.. but I should find that out THUR Morning :P
I was thinking of ordering shirts that say "Guess what?" on the front and "Im going to be a "Grandpa, Grandma.. and so on down the line on the back and sent them along with every ones xmas gifts. I know my house and cell phone is going to be ringing off the hook this xmas
