I'm so sorry...this will be my 1st Chrismas without my Princess in 5 years. She passed away 6 months ago also. We miss her SO much......
I know exactly how you feel. As mentioned in a previous post, have you given any thought to getting another dog? We own Princess's Daughter, and we purchased another Yorkie when Princess passed away, and the two of them have been so helpful in the healing process.
