Marie, every dog is different but in general most come in twice a year. Normally every six months after their first heat. If you were to go on thinking she wouldn't come in heat until a year later, you would end up with a Yorkie mix litter. Sounds like in 1 1/2 months you should start keeping an eye out. She could take longer but better safe than sorry. Sylvia
