Always as a kid, we would hop out the back door into the woods and find our own "Charlie Brown" Christmas Tree. But, my hubby has never allowed us to get one because his friend a long, long time ago brought a live tree into his nice warm house and a nest of Preying Mantis hatched and was all over the place.
Fake trees are more economical because if you buy one and take care of it, it lasts a longggg time. It saves our forests.
But, if you can find a real tree that has roots and can be planted after Christmas, I would want a real one.
