Sorry, it doesn't say on the bottle the age to start but I would think after their baby teeth are gone. It just tells you how much to use by the pounds of the dog. It comes in a spray and gel..........I got both to see which would be "easier" to administer. But I don't think one is easier to use than the other. I didn't take pictures, but wish I had. I am hard to impress but this stuff is great!
