I imagine that it goes on everywhere. There have been dogs reported stolen in other areas of our county but not this close to home, literally.
My friend's hubby was showing a Maltese pup to a couple at their kennel. He went to get another pup for them to look at and they left with the puppy they were holding.
It wasn't even weaned.
Another incident was when a car drove around the house at another local kennel. They rang the doorbell but since noone answered, they assumed noone was home. A sick child inside watched them steal a bulldog out of the lot out back.
Everyone just be mindful of your furbabies. I don't want this to happen to anyone else. And thanks for all the well wishes. It means a great deal to me.
