Your right 9 weeks is a little early. Do you happen to know how much the puppy weighs? I would never suggest taking the baby away that early but some things happen for a good reason
The good thing is that your not nuts and know you'll have to take extra care of the baby and keep a very close eye out for anything bad. (I guess that goes for all babies but I'm sure you got my point, LOL) Your being smart and are going to have help. I'm sure everything will work out for the best. Maybe the people don't know 9 weeks is a little young. Perhaps they could keep the baby for a few more weeks?? Good Luck with everything
