I get very upset about this ( but it is my opinion) But I fight alot with my dad, about this,, he has a german shephard that is tied outside 24/7... WHY??!! what kind of life is that? Would you want that?

I agree with you. I dont understand why people who keep their dogs outside 24/7 get dogs in the first place. To me, the point of having a dog is for companionship. I have found that my dogs are better friends to me than anyone else. They dont lie to you, gossip about you, etc. Why get a dog if not for companionship? This irritates me when people do that. My aunt owns two dogs that no one in her house likes except for my 9 year old cousin. My aunt hates the dogs. The dogs are constantly yelled at and spend the majority of their time outside. What kind of life is that? They only play with eachother. No one else plays with them. I just dont get why people get a dog that doesn't live in the house and get attention and love. It doesn't make sense to me!!!
