I am not having any luck getting mine to eat the Natural Balance either. He is picking out the pieces of Science Diet and leaving the Natural Balance.

Do you think it is because the Natural Balance is bigger? Isn't Royal Canin pretty small kibble like the Science Diet puppy food? Maybe I will try breaking it up some the next few days and see how that goes. Might be worth a try?
