I also fell in love with the yorkie breed because of their beautiful looks and their size. And of course their personality just won me over! But I wouldn't own one that weighed 50 lbs. My first two were standards (6-7 lbs), and I used to wish they were bigger because I felt they were fragile and worried they'd get injured or stepped on. My two now are 8 and 12lbs, and I think that's about perfect. They're still small, but not too fragile. As much as I adore the breed, I think over 25 lbs would be too big.
