Wow, those are good weights, I was suspecting 3 oz. at the most. No wonder she had a C-section. I would have thought the x-ray would have showed the need for a C-section. So apparently, her whole 1 pound weight gain was all babies.
As long as the puppies are being kept warm, Mom doesn't need to stay with them all the time (although most do). As long as she is going in enough to nurse then she can come right back out again. She's been through a lot too. How is Mom eating and drinking? |
