I agree. When I first decided I wanted a yorkie and was interested in showing, I wanted a female. After searching a lot of reputable yorkie show breeders I quickly found that breeders who show will not sell a show/breed quality female yorkie. They keep the female themselves. That's what made me decide on a male at first (and the fact that I've learned that males are 'easier' to show than females). Good luck in your search, I'd definitely recommend finding a mentor and maybe then you'll be able to acquire a female.
