Wow, this thread seems to have struck a nerve in some of us. I can totally relate, but I agree with the others that Ladyhawk's advice is right on.
I set minimum standards for Yorkie care: Two walks a day and no more than 5 hours alone. Beyond that, I try not to obsess. They really are dogs and have an amazing capacity to adapt to the situation.
