Emma plays with a Chi named Lola at Doggie Daycare-Emma is twice as big as little Lola, but they play so well together! I think my 5.5 pound Emma enjoys being the "big dog".

But--I had a Chi growing up. Not at ALL your typical Chi-6 pounds, NEVER barked, would have rather curled up in your lap then payed attention to anything or anyone else, loved being outside, was perfectly outdoor potty trained, and loyal as can be. But she was also a "land shark", and didn't get along with any other dogs or other animals. When we'd walk her and come upon another dog, she'd freak out, and try to get the other dog. She didn't bark, but once actually bit the nose of a german shepard, and didn't think twice. The shepard didn't know what to do, but my Chi wanted that dog to know this was her turf and her people!

I think it all depends on your current dogs, the Chi's personality, and how you acclimate them to one another.
