I agree that changing foods would help, depending on what you are feeding. Loki is also 2 and 11 pounds and he eats just over 1/2 cup per day divided in two. He also usually gets a little bit of chicken or potato or whatever we are eating for dinner, but only a little. He *always* eats his breakfast when I give it to him, around 7am. Then he is happy to get his dinner any time between 4 and 7. If they are not eating it at the time you put it down you should give them 15 minutes and pick it back up. Don't let them graze all night. That does lead the bathroom problems you are having. A nice walk after dinner also helps with those problems!
