Sometimes Loki still needs to go out in the middle of the night. We take turns. That's just how it is. Can your hubby wake you up to let him out? I would say if he is settling after you take him out then you should take him out to pee. If he is just up because he is not tired, then you need to keep him up later and wear him out throughout the day. We used to not let Loki nap after 7pm even if it meant a very long game of fetch and keeping him entertained. Now he can sleep all day and all night, with breaks to eat and drink and pee.
