I don't usually break the sack either until the pup is all the way out, but this one was very, very slow in progressing. I think it was less than an inch from the opening for close to 2 hours and then partially hanging out for almost an hour for many more contractions (usually one or two is all it takes at that point). I was afraid it might be hung up and needed a little gently pulling and felt it would be safer if she could she what she was grasping.

She kept saying she saw a yellow bag inside the first bag which I couldn't see in the pictures and still don't know what she could have been describing.
