Hope Duke has made a full recovery by now. The DHP is the "new" distemper, hepatitis, parvo vaccine that lasts for three years and is not given yearly so that should be good. Your vet didn't give Corona or Lepto which is also good, wondering why he gave the Kennel Cough since it's a noncore vaccine and only good for 6 months and usually only given if you board your dog and then it's best to give it 3 weeks prior to the boarding. Many dogs come down with respiratory ailments after receiving this vaccine. I agree with the others, only one injection at a time, everything I have read says 2 weeks minimum in between, preferably 3 weeks to give their immune system time to recover. |
