That will just help her not become tired - it won't strengthen the contractions. Did you see any of the water sack bulge out on that contraction?
She still isn't yelping or whining, right? A vet at this point would be grabbing the baby and pulling during contractions, but you have to have a good hold on the baby and only pull with the contractions - you can't just grab a leg or the head though, you have to have the hips or the shoulders so it is pretty invasive. |
