The other problem I have with him he doesn't come then I call him. He thinks I am playing with him any he backs up.

Same here, sometimes Pepper is very good and comes when called but sometimes I try to pet him or call him closer and he jumps back and doesn't let me touch him
. Like he thinks I'm about to grab him and do something nasty like combing or putting clothes on him hmmm.
