It will help ease her stress a lot if you don't leave her alone at all. I stay with mine continually and it really seems to help. Sometimes they will take off running when the pup starts to come out and you really need to be there to keep this from happening as they can rip the placenta from the puppy and cause a hernia. The sack also needs to come off and the baby suctioned within a minute too. I have also seen them not realize what is going on and bite at the thing that is hurting them (the baby's head). A lot can happen in just leaving them alone for a few minutes.

Mine have very easy labors, three contractions and we have a pup and in less than 2 hours it's all over. I hope your baby has an easy delivery. Give us updates when you can.
