 Update on Piper
Well, I took her to the specialist for the ultra sound. He was looking for her shunt & couldnt see it. Come to find out the DR. that I had the appointment with hasn't done many and really couldn't see one. He's only had his degree for a little over 2 years. So they have me coming back in a week or 2 to see another specialist that has been doing & reading ultra sounds for years. Needless to say I was upset. He didn't charge me for the ultra sound, just for the consultation. He did say from her Bile Acid test running so high, he did think it was a shunt. He also said that it might take another test to determine it. Some radio active test, that I would have to drive 6 hours away to get it for her. I'll find out more about that test if needed. So I'm still on hold until I get another appointment. Just wanted all to know, were still hanging in there. Thanks for all your prayers.
