My point is that a lot of young children listen to her and others that they have no business listening to. So when she is asking for the public's money (buying her music) then she opens up herself to being judged. Especially by us parents! |
Who cares what they listen too? When I was 8 I was listening to Dr. Dre, Tupac, Snoop and they rapped about a lot worse things then 50cent (no S). I turned out fine, I'm not in any gangs, don't do drugs, and don't kill people, or any of the other negative stuff they rapped about. Also, at that age a lot of what they hear in the songs goes in one ear and out the other. I remember not getting the analogies when I was younger, and I would think "what a wierd thing to sing about". Or maybe my mom just did a good job in raising me and teaching me right from wrong...yeah I think that's it.
Of course a lot of people are going to judge people in the spotlight, it's human. Rather your in the spotlight or not, your going to get judged by others. It's a fact of life. The thing I admire Britney about though is that she doesn't care. When she first hooked up with Kevin the world was disgusted, but she still flaunted her love for him. She's not easily influenced by the public opinion. How many others can say that (celebs and non celebs)???
