I have been reading this all over the internet. I do not think any of the dogs were yorkies. There were Maltese, Poms, and the Chihuahuas. It sounds very suspicious to me. How could someone break in and steal seven dogs unnoticed. How far away did the handler take the one he was walking? How many people would it take to control 7 dogs? What about the barking? My 3 would raise such a ruckus, I doubt anyone could miss it. Why would the handler leave site of a vehicle containing such precious occupants?
I read on one site that they are not sure the dogs were taken in NC but might be in TN or Georgia. Maybe the handler is a suspect but supposedly his dogs were taken too? Another site said that puppy mill people might have been laying in wait for people traveling to the dog show. But still, it sounds so weird. I hate to be suspicious all the time, but I have been "had" so many times about things in the news in the past few years. I used to immediately have sympathy for every story of loss but now I wonder about everything. I hate that -- I liked being able to believe everything I heard but you can only get burnt so many times before you develop a little bit of suspicion. |
