A lot of people do not understand our love for our dogs-->that includes my own hubby but as time goes by, I can feel his love grows for my little guy although not quite up to my par yet but I think he is getting there. Its important to give them some time to see what they meant to you. My father-in-law doesn't like dogs either but when he is at my house and my baby runs to him and greet him and lick him, I didn't do anything to stop him not because I do not respect him; I'd rather think of it as giving them some time and opportunity to know each other. He actually held him up and said "if you disturb me, I will turn you in to dinner but you are too small for my dinner". He is just joking and its really funny.
