My dogs will get turkey. They always have (for some 65 years now - this includes all the dogs I have every had). I have never had one get sick.
But like any great food that they love and would eat until they burst - I make sure they get a sensible amount.
I mentioned in an earlier post - that a lot of feel "uncomfortable" after eating too much on Thanksgiving.... so I'm sure if we let our dogs eat all they wanted, they wouldn't feel so good either.
Anyway - my dogs will definitely eat Turkey - and probably have some every day for the next week or so - at least! (I cut up and freeze the leftovers for them -- and for my cats also).
