i cross over A LOT!! and they rarely even notice her... if they do notice her.. they ask if i have brought food over for her... you are NOT allowed food into the US unless it is in its original package (it can be opened) and the package has to say product of the USA on it. If it is product of Canada... well there are ways to cheat. i usually just put some food in a ziplock and put it in my purse.. if they are to search your car.. you are allowed to take your purse with you and therefore they cannot search it. Same rules goes for the treats as well. I have never had anyone asks for proof of rabies vaccine... so i doubt you will have a problem. WHen they ask if i have brought food with me.. (even tho there is a bit in my purse) i say no... she gets car sick if she eats... they dont' ask questions.. and on we go... happy travels!
