 6 oz almost 4 wk old
I have a puppy who will be 4 weeks old in two days. He weighs 6 ozs. He is active, acts average for his age right now. But he has me worried because of his size.
I started supplementing with the justborn puppy milk a few times a day 2 days ago., and he eats canned food already along with mamas milk.
He doesnt act like anything is wrong. I was hoping he would show some weight gain with the supplement right away but he hasnt. Ill try stepping it up a knotch with increased milk..
When a puppy is this small this young, I associate it with problems, because this has been my experience.
Anyone ever have a puppy just be this small by nature and do well? Or do you have any other suggestions other then supplementing what I am? |
