 Farewell snaps here too!
Our Casanova does the same thing when we are leaving and tell him, "Sorry but you have to stay this time" If you put you hand in the STAY signal he will snip (it never hurts) your hand. I just think it is his way of showing us he isnt happy about being left at home.
However, just recently (he is 2.5 years old) has also started the behaivor mentioned; barking and snapping at visitors when they leave. Have to get a handle on this! Will try the suggestions in above posts.
