We went to Bailey's training class last night and the trainers were talking about a Golden Retriever who was 1.5 years who got into some dark belgium chocolate that the husband left on the counter and died. He was a large dog and he ate just a few pieces of the candy. The owners are just beside themselves. Please keep candy away from your babies. We keep our chocolate up in the cupboard now. I just need to keep after our daughter leaving candy lying around her room.
